Volunteers are EVERYTHING at Mountain Cats TNR! In fact without them the organization wouldn’t exist. Volunteers are the driving force behind its creation and its ongoing mission to help end the suffering of cats in Jefferson County by reducing the population of homeless cats through TNR. We have no paid staff. Everything we do for cats and kittens, from trapping, transporting, spaying/neutering, addressing their medical needs through placement with fosters and for the lucky few, in homes of their own, is done by dedicated volunteers. Beyond these jobs, plenty of other opportunities exist to help. At Mountain Cats, volunteers are encouraged to bring their expertise and skills to their experience - be it a talent for photography, social media savvy, a background in marketing, you name it, we can probably use it. So if you’ve got some love to give kitties in need and some time to lend a hand, please contact us with questions or complete the application and we’ll be in touch!

Please note: Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. 16-18 year olds need the written consent of  a parent or guardian.
